The Florida Project

Hello everyone

Today I'm going to write about a movie that I liked so much, this movie called The Florida Project.
The story it's about a child, Monee, who is 6 years old and she lives with her young mother, Halley. Both lives in a motel called "The Magic Castle", near Disney World. Monee has a two friends of the same age with whom has fun and pranks.

In the course of the movie Monee meets Jancey, a girl of the same age who lives in other motel close to "The Magic Castle". Between them they establish a very strong bond of friendship. She becoming a very important person to Monee.

The sad part of this movie It's de case about Halley, as I said before, she is the mother of Monee, she has 22 years old. To pay the rent and feed Monee she sells perfums on the outskirts of expensive hotels. Unfortunately the mother of Monee doesn't have enough money to pay the rent of motel, so, the only solution for her is to practice prostitution while Monee and her friends are going to play somewhere.

Finally I like this movie because it's about poverty, prostitution, happiness and friendship. I think the strong message in the story it's about the false happiness and the problems that exist in this city that we constantly ignore for being the capital of Disney World.

Celebration

Hello everyone

Today I'm going talk about a special celebration for me

In 2009 I celebrated my 13th birthday in september. I changed school, so, I decided to invite my new friends of there. That year I had five close friends at the moment who came to visit me. My mom made lunch spaghetti that we really enjoyed. My mom is a good chef. Later we played with the video game console, it was really fun, we laughed a lot.

After that, my parents and my brother took us to the bowling I think it was in Happyland at Mall Plaza Vespucio in La Florida. We played there for one hour and was amazing. I love bowling, but I don't go so much, I think I have gone 5 times in all my life. I don't remember who won, but definitely not me, I really bad at bowling. However, as I said before I like so much this activity. I enjoyed so much share with friends. For another part I like this place because I adore the interior design, It's like neon place, and always sounds pop music.

Finally, when we leaving the bowling, we went for junk food and we sat down to talk about nothing special and the day ended.

I remember that day with so much love, it was great!

Big little lies

Hi everyone :)

Today I'm going to write about a series that I saw last holiday, It's a HBO series called Big Little lies.
This series it premiered in 2017 and has two season. One chapter lasts about 45 minutes. Also if you don't have HBO or something, you can see it in cuevana or another ilegal web haha.

So, this series it's about the history of 5 women whom lives in Monterrey, California. All of them have different jobs and life styles, some are friends and others don't. However, all of them have their children in the same school year.

It's very interesting series because one of the topics it's about violence againts women, domestic violence and rape. I think it's very powefull to know this histories and how they confront this situation like a person and like a mother.

Another thing that I like so much it's the cast of this serie, because you can see a Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley ,Zoë Kravitz and in the second season Meryl Streep is include in the cast. I don't like so much the character of Meryl and if you watch the serie you will know why. 

I'm waiting for the next season because the final episode makes me feel vey anxious.

Bicentenario Park

Hi everyone

Today I'm going to talk about a place that I visited in Summer of 2015. This year I went to Bicentenario Park in Vitacura. It's a nice place, you can walk trough this park, you can sit on the grass or also you can have a picnic there.

As I said before I went this park in Summer of 2015 with my father. An afternoon we ride our bikes because in the past I lived aproximately near of there. I remember it was hot so I drunk a lot of water.
When we arrived we started to cycling around the park, It's a very long place.

I remember we were cycling for an hour and when we felt tired, we sit on the grass to recover our energies. Later we walk to a artificial lake and we saw koy fishes, birds and ducks. I fed some fishes, it was really fun but scary because this fishes were desesperate for food.

When dusk came we take photos in diferent places of Bicentenario Park, the view it's amazing and the colors of this hour was very nice.

I enjoyed so much this because I love to ride a bicycle and the Bicentenario Park is very nice and green. What a pity that it's so far

A job

Hi everyone

Today I'm going to talk about my dream job

During this last period I have thought about that I would like to learn more about makeup. I like the diferent forms of makeup. So I would like to become a makeup artist.

It all started few two years ago when I began to makeup myself. I started with an eyeliner, so It's not to much but it was really fun. Before that, I bought more makeup and saw tutorials on youtube, as usual I copied this makeups with what little that I had. Whatever. I enjoy so much this, because is like a costume, you can express yourself through this colors and diferent products or be other person. So would like to improve and make up other person, because only I made up two people in my life.

I think the only qualities you need to be a make up artist is to like makeup, be patient because It's I little difficult and have money to buy some stuff (always cruelty free).

My satisfaction about to be a make up artist would be great, because I enjoy so much to doing this, express my self as I want, trying new colors and if the person I'm doing make have fun, I would feel very happy.

Finally, I think the makeup can have positive and negative thing, but while make you feel good and you have fun, It's all great.

the greatest Chilean

Hi everyone

Today I'm going to write about the greatest chilean of all the time, obviously, in my opinion.
I have to recognise that is difficult for me to think about this topic, but I think in one important woman in Chile and her name is Gabriela Mistral, she is poetess. Also, she is a reference for so many people, above all women of all age.

I'm going to write a short biography about her.  She was born in 1889 in Vicuña, Chile. Her real name was Lucila Godoy Alcayala. She was a poetess, teacher and diplomatic in New York. She won the nobel prize in literature in 1945, that was the most important episode in her career. Gabriela Mistral was the first Ibero-American and the second Latinamerican woman to reciving the nobel price in Literature.

She wrote very important and beautiful words and It's so sad that in Chile they don't give so much importance to their work, moreover, I remember when I was in the school all of my language's teacher they mentioned her not much, or always they saw her poetry like something motherly and tender and not like something poweful.

If I had the chance to ask her something, It would be: What would you say to women and girls whom want to express themself through writing?

Euphoria

Hello everyone

Today I'm going to writing about a series that I saw last week and I hate but also I love so much. This series is called euphoria, and the storyline is about a teenagers with diferent experience, for example drugs, mental illness, LGBTQ+ and more. It's weird because I started this serie one saturday in the night and I didn't feel interested at all but I keep watching until sunday when I finish this series.

I have mixed feelings because It's a series very explicit about the use of the drugs and violence. However the producers of Euphoria advise in the audience (teenagers)  about this topics, but I believe the teeangers can will use more drugs and they will think if one person have a mental illness, that person will be more interesting. I'm obviously assuming.

As I said before, I loved this serie too, because this had a beautiful photograph, aesthetic, custome, and the part I most liked It was the make up. The characters used so much colours and glitter. Was really flashy, but no one in the imaginary world of euphoria had prejudices. The important thing was to be yourself.
